The Nehera Fall/Winter 2019 collection favors the woman who prefers to ease her way into colder weather, camouflaging herself into a pile of felled fall foliage but ready to dust herself off and dash into the office should work suddenly call. Draping, slouching pieces in satin, poplin and viscose in the form of pieces such as trench coats posing as dresses, or baggy numbers with high loose collars and side slits prove to be equally comfortable while swiveling in an office chair…or stealing 15 more minutes of winks after getting fully ready for work. Some outfits came with white oversized bags, in case they needed to scoop up piles of leaves “to go” for good measure.
The parade of easy black, gold, brown and copper tones was broken up by the occasional shock of a deep blue, a striped pattern or a graphic motif thanks to a collaboration with graphic designer Ondrej Rudavsky. However, simplicity worked better; the designs actually distracted rather than enhanced.
