FFIXXED STUDIOS Fall 2019 – Paris Fashion Week

Unsettling plantation gardening theme aside, FFIXXED STUDIOS – the design team of Fiona Lau and Kain Picken – have constructed a solid Fall/Winter 2019 men’s and women’s collection for those whose preferences veer towards COMME des GARÇONS over common casualwear.  The Hong Kong- and Shenzhen-based label’s signature exaggerated silhouettes were on full display at Paris Fashion Week, with oversized Mao jackets, quilted puffy coats and asymmetrical floppy hats, some with protective gear to shield sideburns from the sun.  Striped dress shirt sleeves extended from loafers, adding a relaxed casual look while providing an interesting aesthetic to the ankle area.
