Designers: Byungmun Seo and Jina Um. Seo previously headed his namesake label, Byungmun Seo, which focused solely on menswear.

Spring/Summer 2017 collection title: “Unconformity of Relation”

Our take: Each season, Seo has proven to lead the Seoul Fashion Week designer pack in terms of non-conformity – as opposed to the “unconformity” that the collection name touts.  Easy to wear with hems and cuts cutting every possible angle, the collection stuck with a limited color palette – mostly black and white with a touch of olive green and blue-greys – that accentuated the details and asymmetry.
