Less than a day after the top professional female tennis players hit the red carpet in Singapore for the 2015 WTA Finals draw ceremony, they answered questions by journalists during a series of All-Access Hour press conferences. More accurately, the appearances by the top eight singles players (Petra Kvitova, Simona Halep, Agnieszka Radwanska, Angelique Kerber, Garbiñe Muguruza, Flavia Pennetta, Lucie Safarova and Maria Sharapova) and doubles team (Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis) occurred every 30 minutes, spanning a total of five hours. With the fashion decidedly more casual than the previous evening’s festivities, the clear winner of the day was the youngest player in the singles draw, the 22-year-old Spaniard Muguruza.
The 6’0″ Muguruza told Meniscus Magazine that she was wearing a Stella McCartney dress and Tory Burch sandals. The dress is part of McCartney’s Spring 2016 Resort collection that was unveiled in New York this past summer. Titled the Kaitlyn Dress, it retails for US$2,764.00 and is available for pre-order on stellamccartney.com.
