The A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT Fall 2014 collection stood out among other Tokyo Fashion Week shows. This resulted in an offering that was pretty, but bland. While the lines were lovely and fur muffs brought the looks together, the cuts were too simple. Gentle ruffles and a pale palette of vanillas, light blues and pinks pointed to, perhaps, more universally commercial fare, with the few interesting elements incorporated into the backs of outfits: asymmetrical cuts on dresses, draping and poufing on many garments, and capes.
