The inspiration and mood for the Betsey Johnson Spring 2014 fashion show, in the designer’s own words on Facebook: “I showed off pretty dresses, cool funky accessories and some very unexpected moments! I’m still in a cotton candy coma!”
And on Twitter: “I really used all of the colors in my crayon box this year! The LATE ’80s was a huge inspiration for me! I wanted to “prescribe” a young fresh & cool feel for every day! [Johnson’s show invitations arrived in pill bottles with a prescription of “Betsey Johnson – One a Day.”]
