The 10th edition of Japan Fashion Week kicked off at the Tokyo Midtown complex with the Fall/Winter 2010 showing of Entoptic, a women’s wear label fronted by Wataru Matsumoto and Kenta Kakinuma. To the opening tune of Morse code-like music, models stepped out in predominately black, slouchy clothing. They are sure to be worn, particularly as part of multi-layered ensembles, but perhaps the looks would have been better suited for a presentation rather than a runway show given their casual nature.
