WNBA 2010: Washington Mystics 65, New York Liberty 60 (pre-season)

Throughout the 2010 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) season, Meniscus will be covering a select number of the Washington Mystics’ home games at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

The Washington Mystics took to the court for the first time in 2010 on May 5, when it beat the New York Liberty, 65-60; photos from the Mystics’ victory follow in the slideshow below. Washington also won its second and final pre-season game Sunday against Atlanta, 77-58. The team’s season officially begins May 15 against Indiana.
