One of our editors informed me that the L.A. Fashion Week Fall 2009 collections have fallen victim to the crumbling economy and have been canceled. As I read through the list of reasons mentioned in the now-offline FR2DAY article, stating why this was a positive development, one stood out: No. 4, which mentioned designer and L.A. Fashion Week regular Joseph Domingo’s show referencing “men in banana hammocks.” Then it dawned on me. The lone time Meniscus headed west to L.A. Fashion Week, we also caught one of Domingo’s shows but never published the photos…until now. Here’s what we saw, and what the models themselves didn’t see, of Domingo’s men’s and women’s Fall 2007 collection (note: no model was harmed by the use of Photoshop…at all. We can’t say the same for skin-toned bandages):
