True fashion rebels should heed the largely Japanese-styled aesthetic of Robert Geller for Spring/Summer 2013. The former Cloak co-designer was inspired by the photographer Sarah Moon – more specifically, her prints in black & white and sepia. The resulting collection was one that was casual yet detailed in its construction, minimalist in color but also unique in terms of fit and form. Geller’s most compelling pieces, inspired by bomber jackets, reshaped black neoprene into vests. He also modernized classic khakis by incorporating less constriction and additional movement.
