New York Fashion Week Fall 2007

Tracy Reese at New York Fashion Week

by Yuan-Kwan Chan

A friend once declared that “Tracy Reese can do no wrong.” There certainly was nothing wrong with Reese’s Fall 2007 collection, titled “Belle,” which featured a wide range of colors and styles, yet comprised a cohesive portfolio of fun and feminine looks. Coats, frocks and dresses flared out at just the right angles, and pieces in shades of rose and strawberry proved that the fall season doesn’t have to be all about brown or black. Also of note were the delightful striped and polka-dotted tights that the models wore with their outfits; the runway show marked the designer’s debut of her Hue by Tracy Reese hosiery line.
